The government will provide 135 million of Euros as part of the nanoelectronics call for proposals launched last September. This information had been announced by the Ministries of Research and Industry and the General Commission for Investment.
These projects of research and development involve industrial from CEA and LETI. Four of these eight projects are coordinated by Soitec and have interests in materials for light emitting diodes (LED) and high brightness semiconductor substrates for components to low or very high integration density. Three are by Altis Semiconductor, about the technology for digital circuits of power, nonvolatile memory and heterogeneous components. The last one is supported by ULIS and aims to produce multi-element infrared sensor at low cost for applications such as intelligent lighting.
