In México, the federal government will help to purchase Led


At the beginning of December 2011, it had been announced that the federal government will use some financial reserved in order to help the purchase of almost 10 mil Led lights. At first, a pilot program will be established for the residents of the metropolitan areas of Guadalajara, Monterrey and Mexico City.

This program will start next year and if people want to participated, they must be costumers of the national electrical service. It is plan to save approximately 200 gig watts/hours. The cost of the operation will be 5 millions of Pesos.

Moreover, still in this logical of energy-savings and respect of the environment, the government announced that at the beginning of 2012, it will introduce a new official norm about the utilization and the consummation of LED lights.
