Green lighting helps reduce Stagecoach energy bills by 40%

Stagecoach UK Bus, one of the UK’s transit companies, recently started switching to LED lighting at its depots, as part of its commitment to reduce carbon emissions. Their new intelligent lighting system will reduce energy consumption by 40%, and C02 emissions by 230 tons per year.
The LED system has been fitted with motion detector and also takes into account the amount of daylight available; to ensure the right amount of lighting and save energy.
