Governor Jerry Brown Stimulates Green Jobs in California

Jerry Brown, California’s Governor, has announced his Clean energy jobs plan. It would help create more than 500 000 jobs in California alone.

“Investments in clean energy produce two to three times as many jobs per dollar as gas, oil or coal. And dollars invested in clean energy tend to stay in California, instead of going to other states or other countries,” says Brown.

Most of the people are wondering if it’s working, and according to some of the latest reports, California’s green economy is going in the right direction. The state has the largest green economy of the USA, with over 300,000 jobs (2.1% of california’s workforce).

Obama will have to promote a “green deal” to help turn the economy.
