The University of Michigan-Flint has changed several bulbs into new, energy efficient LED lights and is expecting a saving of up to 50% of the energy costs for the illumination of the campus.

The savings for the plaza is expected to amount to about $6,000 per year and about $18,000 per year for the parking ramp.
