LED lighting comforts patients in wound care center

The Henry Country Hospital in Indiana, USA is using LED lights for the rooms of the wound care center. The hospital was looking for a light solution, which makes the patients feel comfortable, which was dimmable and would save energy costs. And it had to be an alternative to fluorescent light, as it takes some health risks for patients in hyperbaric chambers. For three years the hospital couldn’t find the right LED light solution, but now, as the market has developed so fast and there are several possibilities to install and use LED lights, the hospital decided to switch to LEDs.
