Everett School District decided to replace almost all lighting with LED this month. As this is the first school to go almost entirely LED, many people regarded as the milestone in LED developing history.
In the past years, LEDs was not considered suitable for reading, even someone said it would be harmful to eyes. However, many teacher at the school feel the LED lighting is better for teaching and learning, as the technology improvement has already make up the disadvantage.
Thanks for the post! It was our James Monroe Elementary School who was recently recognized for this great achievement. The entire district is excited about it.
